If you’ve got Google Assistant on your smartphone, then your digital secretary is now able to let you know which song is playing close to you — at a pub, a restaurant or even at home.
The newest update is currently rolling out to all of Android apparatus that empower Google Assistant.
After phoning Google Assistant, you can ask “what song is that?” , along with the Assistant will pull a card to you together with the title of the tune, the lyrics and artist, The Verge reported Tuesday.
The card may have links to YouTube, Google Play Music and Spotify streaming hyperlinks of this tune in addition to an embedded connection to hunt the tune on Google.
Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices can passively listen in to music around you and identify the song on the screen.
“But that song identification only kicks in after about a minute of listening and only works on popular songs,” the report added.
The new update will help all users who have access to Google Assistant.
