It does seem like Xiaomi is betting big – literally and figuratively – on its next ‘phablet’ device, the Mi Max 3. While the Mi Max 2 comes with 6.44-inch display, rumours suggest that the Mi Max 3could sport a 7-inch display along with 18:9 aspect ratio. Several reports have indicated that along with a 7-inch full screen the smartphone will also have smaller bezels.
Two other rumoured features about the smartphone include a bigger battery – 5500mAH – and a dual rear camera set up. The bigger battery could be a realistic feature as the Mi Max 2 already sports a 5300mAH battery. Other specifications which have been leaked include rumours of reverse charging and Quick Charge 3.0.
Another online report has indicated that the Mi Max 3 could come in two variants. One is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 640 processor whereas the other variant might have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. However, none of these features or specifications have been confirmed by the company.
